You cannot directly manipulate the volume level, however, the quieter files are caused by a Windows setting that has been altered and can be fixed easily. If you have files that are recorded at quieter levels than the original, please check the "Hardware Acceleration" level for the "Muv Audio Virtual Cable 1" and make sure the level is set to "Full".

Instructions:
  1. Click on the Start Menu
  2. Then double-click on Control Panel
  3. If not in "Classic Mode", on the left, click Switch to classic view (This may or may not be needed depending on if this has been done previously. If the bar on the left says "Switch to Classic view" it is needed. If it says "Switch to category view" it is not.)
  4. Next, double-click on Sounds and Audio Devices
  5. Now, click on the Audio tab
  6. Change the default device to Muv Audio Virtual Cable 1
  7. Then click on the Advanced button below the audio device
  8. Now, click on the Performance tab
  9. Next to Hardware Acceleration make sure the slider bar is all the way to the right, which is labeled Full
  10. If it is not, drag it to the far right and click apply
  11. This will take effect for all cables and now your recorded files from this point on will have the same volume as the original.
